Hi! I'm Meredith Brough.

Pediatric Sleep Consultant, Instructor, Mentor & Coach to Sleep Consultants.

I am a big fan of mothers. The work they do is the most important, but it's also the most exhausting and overwhelming. That's why I decided to be a mom mentor and sleep coach. I want to help mothers feel better, find more downtime to take care of themselves, and have more ease and predictability in their lives.

I was one of those moms who had an exhausting baby-he preferred me always and kept me awake at night. When he was 12 months old, I found out I was pregnant again. I was very scared and apprehensive about what was coming. But I found ways to help my daughter sleep well early on and that changed my life as a mom completely.

I loved my new life! Since I also love babies, I had 3 more! Annnnd... then I ran a daycare and helped all the families with their sleep, too. LOL. It was super rewarding. I loved surprising the mothers!

Since I started my business 6 1/2 years ago, I've helped more than a thousand families establish good sleep habits, and I can honestly say that I found my dream job.

I would have never guessed that one day I would be teaching my sleep methods & solutions to sleep consultants and helping them build strong businesses so they can do the work that I love. It's been a glorious ride! I love that we can help more parents support their children's needs and give them all the advantages of sleeping well, by working together.

How to Choose the Right Sleep Consultant Certification Program for YOU

Advice From a Seasoned Graduate with 3 Sleep Consultant Certifications & a Nursing Degree:

"Think of your own parenting style and the type of parents you want to work with.

Think of what advice you would give to a parent even without a certification behind you, whether that be on feeding or sleep: your own idea of what that should or could look like.

And then, look at what courses feel most aligned with you personally and with the type of clientele or families that you could envision yourself working with.

Think of what course feels most aligned with your values, your brand's voice, and your business.I also suggest you talk to the director, the creator of the course and find out if you connect with them. Are they giving you time?

If someone's not going to give you time, to ask questions, go over their course, or connect on zoom or a phone call, you're probably not going to get that much from them in the course.

I remember connecting with Meredith and how much time she was giving to me just by talking and asking and being curious about my son and just trying to go through some sleep troubleshooting without saying, sign up for my course.

She was on her time. And that is what I was really connecting with. "Wow, she's been so helpful. and I'm not paying her. I'm not a client or a customer.

I loved the tools and the resources that were provided in the Baby-Centered™ Sleep Consultant Program for us as consultants to learn. And finding out what buckets need to be filled for our children throughout the day. There were some resources that Meredith provided that were not in other courses that really can help, Especially with toddlers who are wound up before sleep, tuning into the child, and wondering, "What is the behavior telling us?" I also believe that behaviors are communication. And "What other puzzle pieces are we missing?"

So that was really cool for me. Thinking, "Well, what am I doing with her on a physical and mental level before bedtime and filling up her cup?" That was something I wasn't necessarily expecting, but I absolutely loved and felt so valuable from this program."
